- D.C. Court of 应用程序eals Welcomes Comments on Proposed Amendments to Rule 49(c)(9)
June 6 – In response to proposals from the Committee on Unauthorized Practice of Law and District of Columbia Access to Justice Commission, D.C. Court of 应用程序eals is considering whether to amend Rule 49 (c)(9). Comments are due July 3. - D.C. Court of 应用程序eals Welcomes Comments on Proposed Amendments to Rule 49(c)(8)

April 12 – Toni Michelle Jackson, Chief of the Office of the Attorney General Equity Section, has been elevated to serve as Deputy Attorney General for the Public Interest Division. - Attorney General Racine Joins Bipartisan Coalition Seeking Information on Facebook Business Practices
April 10 – Attorney General Karl A. Racine joined a bipartisan coalition of 37 state and territorial attorneys general in seeking information on Facebook Business Practices. - Bianca Garcia Named Executive Director of the Judicial Nomination Commission
April 6 – The District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission has announced that Bianca Garcia, 收., has been named Executive Director of the Commission. - Attorney General Racine Welcomes 16 New Attorneys as 2018 Charles F.C. Ruff Fellows
March 28 – Attorney General Karl A. Racine has welcomed 16 recent graduates from area law schools as the 2018 class of Charles F.C. Ruff Fellows at the Office of the Attorney General. - Judge Rahkel Bouchet Nominated to D.C. Superior Court
March 26 – The D.C. Judicial Nomination Commission is pleased to announce the nomination of Judge Rahkel Bouchet to be an Associate Judge of the Superior Court of D.C. - D.C. 法院 Announce New 5-Year Strategic Plan
February 7 – The D.C. 法院 released their Strategic Plan, for 2018 to 2022. The 法院’ Vision Statement is the theme of this five-year plan: Open to All, Trusted by All, Justice for All. - Judicial Nomination Commission Recommends Three Candidates for D.C. Superior Court Vacancy
January 10 – The Judicial Nomination Commission has recommended to the President three individuals for his consideration in selecting a nominee to fill a D.C. Superior Court judicial vacancy, created by the retirement of Judge Frederick H. Weisberg.
